It doesn’t snow often in Norm’s hometown of Seattle, but it did this year! It only lasted for 2 days, but Norm braved the cold to go out and play in the middle of the night with his friend Bartholomew, while the snow was still fresh. Brrr!
Norm has been taking it easy lately, relaxing at home and enjoying the Seattle sunshine. He’s a bit overwhelmed by the number of photos he has from his trip around Scotland, Ireland, London, and Paris – Norm promises those photos are still coming! The photo processing has been daunting. But in exciting news, Norm recently met his first superhero, BatGnome! Norm and BatGnome hit it off, and Norm was granted the honorary title of Commissioner Norman.
Norm is about to hop on a plane and head out to Missouri, and he worries about his roommate when he’s gone. BatGnome is always looking for opportunities to do good things, so when Norm asked if he would move in and watch over Norm’s roommate during Norm’s absences, BatGnome readily agreed. Not only will Norm’s roommate feel safer, but also these new best gnome-buds can hang out between their respective adventures!
BatGnome has settled in nicely, and would like everyone to know that as far as Hollywood goes, Adam West was the best Batman. Don’t argue with a gnome.
Love BatGnome? Check him out, along with Captain Gnome & Super Gnome at Parody Gnomes. They have no idea I’m plugging them; I just really love their ideas!
Norm decided he loves weddings! Everyone is happy and dressed nicely, and there’s so much love. This wedding in Seattle with his friends tying the knot was loads of fun!
In March 2013, Norm realized he hadn’t been on a trip in a little while. Since no human friends were traveling anytime soon, he decided to play tourist in his home city of Seattle, WA.
Now hooked on parties, in mid-December 2012, Norm attended his first Christmas party. He does not recommend eggnog wine, by the way.
As soon as he got back from Florida a couple of days after Thanksgiving, Norm was back in the social swing at his first party. He learned to play poker and met a wonderful new doggy friend.
In October 2012, Norm heard about a “Hidden Gnome Corn Maze” in nearby Arlington, WA. Excited to meet other gnomes and possibly distant relatives, Norm had to check this out.
Norm got in touch with his country roots at the Puyallup, WA Fair and Rodeo in September 2012.
Norm was busy in July 2012… he also visited Seattle’s Golden Gardens beach for a party with some of his human friends.
Norm loves animals, so when he got back from Detroit, he wanted to go to the Woodland Park Zoo in his own neighborhood.
